Total Eclipse of the heart

 

In honor of my favorite sagas and the recent solar Eclipse, I express my thoughts on The Twilight Saga : Eclipse 

So unless you’ve been living under a rock, Twilight is a series where a centuries old vampire named Edward, who stopped aging at 17, falls in love with a 17 year old human girl named Bella. 

Edward is part of a clan who only drink from animals, they go by the Cullens. Since he has chosen to be with a human, Edward puts Bella at risk of other vampires, in the first movie, Bella is hunted down by a vampire named James. Therefore, Edward and his family had to kill him.

This brings us to the 3rd movie where James mate Victoria had decided to turn a bunch of humans into vampires in order to avenge James death, the newborn vampires were on their quest to destroy the Cullens. Now personally I think that it makes sense she would go this length because that was her partner for eternity and they took him from her. BUT BElla and Edward’s love is so pure. So I’m definitely on their side. Honestly just the thought of a creature living for an eternity sounds exhausting and by it sounds, I mean it is, I would know, I am immortal. 

Anyways, there’s also Jacob who is a werewolf and his pack are enemies of the vampires but they join forces with the Cullens to destroy the newborns in order to protect Bella. Jacob is also in love with Bella and he decides to kiss her against her will and she punches him!

Which is so well deserved but then Bella makes Jacob kiss her when she has to talk him out of going on a suicide mission because he found out that Edward and Bella were getting married. Although she loves Jacob she is in love with Edward. She says she’ll always choose him. Which is a little cringe but also great for romance.
